Bully In The Workplace

The marinator or the betrayer. The underminder or the pro timer. Always given the opportunity to be productive for the company but usually is the destructor. Where there is a need for high morale. These people are the ones lowering it. Almost never caught. They usually float under the wing of the enabler, which wishes to maintain a relationship with the bully to avoid being bullied. It probably wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to be there. But the company pays you to do so, don't they.

There once was a story about a captain of a vessel(ship) with a marginal crew. This man was an ideal leader. But the problem was, he liked to belittle his crew. So much to where, they became low in morale. Slowly beginning to slack on duties causing the ship to deteriorate. One night the crew abandoned the ship using a life raft. Eventually the ship sank leading the captain to his own demise. And the moral of the story is ....

I see these issues appear in the best of places. That is why I encourage everyone to take jobs that you love to do rather than income based employment if possible.
Private companies have become a cesspool for favoritism where hundreds of thousands of employees are demeaned and per say thrown under the bus by inexperienced supervisors. These comical agendas usually lead to a disgruntled workforce, high absenteeism and poor performance.
This subject brings a stalemate to me because I see what bullying does to our children in schools, plus some of their profound reactions to those attacks.
A law was passed banning cyber-bullying on the internet. But what of interpersonal, day to day face to face interactions with individuals. Should there be a difference because it's logged?
I read somewhere in the Bible worse is the tempter rather that the tempted.
